Menopause is not a niche issue—it’s a universal experience for half the population. And yet, too many women in Utah and across the country are receiving care that is outdated, incomplete, or not based on evidence. That has to change.
As a board-certified physician with specialized training as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and additional fellowship training in Integrative Medicine, I’m committed to providing menopause care that is rooted in the latest research, grounded in real clinical experience, and personalized for each woman I see. I also continue to pursue advanced training to stay at the forefront of this evolving field. My patients deserve no less.
At Healthspan Utah, I offer comprehensive menopause care for women across the state—whether you’re navigating hot flashes, sleep disruption, brain fog, painful intimacy, weight gain, or just not feeling like yourself anymore. I see patients both in-person in Heber Valley and via telehealth throughout Utah, so no matter where you are, you can access expert care.
What Is Menopause?
Menopause is defined as 12 months after your last menstrual period, but most women start to feel changes long before that point. Perimenopause—the transition leading up to menopause—can begin in your 40s (or even late 30s) and can last several years. Hormone levels start to fluctuate, and the symptoms can be intense: hot flashes, insomnia, mood changes, vaginal dryness, irregular periods, and more.
These changes are real, they are biological, and they are treatable. You don't have to just “get through it.” There are effective, evidence-based treatments available—including hormone therapy, lifestyle changes, supplements, and more.
Why I'm Concerned
I’ve seen a wave of women looking everywhere and anywhere to be heard and treated well. Many of these approaches are expensive, cookie-cutter, or even dangerous. Women deserve better.
You deserve a provider who:
Listens to your story
Reviews your labs carefully
Uses evidence-based guidelines
Considers the whole person
Offers cost-effective, personalized care
At my clinic, I don’t sell supplements. I don’t push products. I don’t profit off labs. My recommendations are made because I believe in them—and I always aim to help you understand your options, risks, and benefits.
Whole-Person, Evidence-Based Menopause Care in Utah
As someone trained in both traditional Western medicine and integrative approaches, I’m uniquely equipped to look at your health from multiple angles. That includes nutrition, sleep, mental health, fitness, gut health, and hormone balance—all of which are key in menopause and beyond.
I believe in combining the best of science with the art of listening. Whether you’re just starting to notice changes or you’ve been struggling for years, I’m here to help.
And because I run a small, patient-focused clinic, you get me. No rushed visits. No layers of bureaucracy. Just thoughtful care, tailored to you.
